Donn Kirkland, M.A., ABD

Donnielle Kirkland is a communications strategist, educator, and advocate dedicated to reshaping public understanding of human trafficking through the often-overlooked experiences of boys and men. With more than a decade of experience leading marketing, media, and advocacy initiatives, Donn brings a visionary approach to storytelling, public education, and movement-building.

As a Ph.D. candidate in Strategic Communication at Liberty University, his research explores how advocates communicate the experiences of male survivors of trafficking and how storytelling can drive systemic change. His leadership blends academic insight with real-world impact, guiding The Overlook Initiative to advance awareness, media literacy, and community-based education that ensures no story is overlooked.
